At a time when the desperate need for survival is at its peak, the
natural right to life governs above all. Hypothetically, when the only
food left in the world is a piece of bread, billions of people would be
more than willing to kill the other billions until the last man
standing would take and eat that bread. It is fundamentally human to
take the last resort in matters between life and death, whatever
consequences they may entail. It doesn't take a genius to digest that.
But looters stealing washing machines, refrigerators, or suitcases, and
saying that it is their natural right to life is ABSURD. Unless, out of
an immediate involuntary biological response, their stomach learned to
digest metal and wires, I would understand. Otherwise, these looters
shall pay for what they have done.
